[SAKO RK.95 Blackbeard] Have those scallywags dancin' the hempen jig with a custom model SAKO RK. 95 inspired by the iconic Caribbean pirate, Blackbeard. It's equipped with a high-capacity magazine.
  — Weapon Description

The Xako RK.95 Blackbeard is an automatic assault rifle used by rifle men, and was available for permanent purchase in the first instalment of the Fortune Stars. It is an upgraded model and custom variant of the Sako RK.95, featuring a strong pirate theme – the entire chassis is smoky brown with gold filigree décor, and sees the addition of a long, narrow knife and revamped animations.

Overview

The Xako RK.95 Blackbeard has seen a number of dramatic statistic improvements over the original model, and counters some common problems seen in the original that has made its use less effective against other popular modern weapons. Most notably, you no longer have to crouch to counteract the bloom and do not have to tap to maintain the recoil. This upgrade therefore features exceptionally higher range, and increased accuracy, recoil control, fire rate and magazine capacity.

Along with this increase of statistics, the Xako RK.95 Blackbeard does not have any modifications available, yet still greatly surpasses the capability of the original. To date, having only been released in the Fortune Stars promotion, it was more difficult to obtain and is comparatively rare as a result. You are penalized less for moving with this weapon when due to the increase in stability, however the accuracy will begin to deviate when walking and will drop severely when jumping.

Due to the increase in range and fire rate, the Xako RK.95 Blackbeard is capable of killing targets very quickly at both short and long ranges, as long as you can consistently land successive shots. Both damage and penetration are very reliable across all ranges; showing only small amounts of deficiency at longer range, making it a very reliable choice for most demolition and other large maps. Utilising this weapon's spray capability is essential to tearing through enemy armor quickly.

While the Xako RK.95 Blackbeard has substituted the ability to zoom in with a knife, it is mostly not recommended to attempt to obtain kills this way as the range is extremely short and is not guaranteed to one-hit-kill your target, especially if they are wearing strong armor. In close-range situations, you're advised to aim for the center of the body and engage fully automatic fire; the drop in stability is negligible and allows you to rack up damage quickly, even against multiple targets.

AK-47

Attack Range Accuracy Control Auto Fire Capacity Mobility
45.0 (-4.0 – 4.0) 68.7 89.9 83.0 9.09 30 93.5

Where the AK-47 shares a similar accuracy to the Xako RK.95 Blackbeard, the play-style observed with both weapons is relatively similar. On account of their matching damage output, the user can secure kills at a comparable speed, and the identical range statistic means that their ability to maintain damage and armor penetration over any range is exactly the same. Both of these weapons were designed to excel both in close-quarters and at longer range, and their efficacy can be observed when engaging multiple targets – they boast the ability to out-endure enemies while dealing significant damage.

Attack Range Accuracy Control Auto Fire Capacity Mobility
37.5 (-1.5 – 1.5) 66.9 90.4 87.1 10.0 30 94.3

The CZ 805 BREN A1 has an identical fire rate to the Xako RK.95 Blackbeard, but has lowered damage making its output significantly smaller. To counter this, the CZ 805 BREN A1 has had its usability increased, making it easier to control at mid-range, where you are almost guaranteed to have to burst when using the Xako RK.95 Blackbeard. Overall, in terms of damage output, this makes them vaguely similar, but curiously also promotes a similar play-style; although there is an advantage to keeping your distance due to their reliable range statistics, you will more commonly find yourself pushing your targets.

Tips

If you would like to create your own tip, please make sure you read the example usage for the tip template first.
• The Xako RK.95 Blackbeard was designed to be bursted, but don't be afraid to hold the trigger down for a little longer if it means securing the kill. Fully automatic fire will start becoming difficult at mid-range, so keep your cross-hair aimed at the centre of your target in order to ensure maximum coverage.

• Even at much longer ranges, the Xako RK.95 Blackbeard will maintain its damage and penetration, so engaging from further distances can be beneficial. However, this weapon's high damage and fire rate still makes it a strong competitor at close-range, so don't be afraid to engage at close-quarters if necessary.

• The zoom feature has been removed, but despite the Xako RK.95 Blackbeard having a knife available, it is not recommended to use it due to its very short range and unreliable damage. This is the only Rifle Man firearm to have a slashing bayonet (as opposed to having a stabbing animation) to date.

Trivia

If you would like to add your own trivia, please make sure you read the example usage for the tip template first.
• Similarly to other "jackpot" weapons, the Xako RK.95 Blackbeard features increasing damage with each kill, up to an extra 3 per bullet in PVP maps and 5 in co-op maps. The active increase can be viewed at the bottom of the screen, and serves as an indication of how many kills you've obtained in the current round.

• The Xako RK.95 Blackbeard is the first Sako RK.95 variant to feature increased statistics, which is paired with the usual increase to capacity. This weapon still outperforms a fully modified original version with one extra damage. You still need to purchase a mount, however this does not affect the statistics.

• Unlike the original Sako RK.95, the Xako RK.95 Blackbeard cannot be modified, omitting the need to pay for any extra recurring costs. This is counteracted by the increase in range, accuracy, recoil control, fire rate and capacity – this variant still manages to surpass the fully modified original by default.
