— Weapon Description |
The D.Defense 10ga. is a Shotgun.
Overview[]
- The Stevens 10Gauge is just as the name implies, a 10 gauge double barrel shotgun. Considering the size of the gauge, the 10 Gauge shell has not only more stopping power but also packs a much powerful punch then other conventional shells. This is well represented in AVA, with the 10 gauge dealing 75 damage per pellet in a shell. Considering there are 7 pellets per shell, the 10 gauge delivers a deadly 525 damage per shot, dealing ridiculous damage over ranges other shotguns dare not venture. This seemingly overpowered characteristic is offset by the Stevens' long delay between shots, and its tiny chambered rounds capacity.

Variants[]
Tips[]
- This weapon is notorious for both its huge delay between shots, and its one-shot-kill damage. Thus, users of this weapon should be very accurate in their first shot, or else risk being killed before they can fire off their second round. It is also highly recommended to operate this weapon in areas with substantial cover, as the user should seek cover once they have fired their first shot and wait for the shot delay to pass.
Notable Comparisons[]
Trivia[]
- The 10 gauge shell is originally not meant for anti-personnel use.
- The statistics claiming the Stevens' damage to be merely 71 has been updated, showing how much damage per pellet delivers.
- Although the Stevens only chambers 2 rounds, with the Pointman Shotgun Skill, the weapon then chambers 3 rounds, a technically impossible feature for a double-barreled shotgun.
- As of fall 2013, this weapon is currently one of the most controversial weapons of KAVA, with users either demanding the weapon to be nerfed or left untouched.
- Even though the weapon has a rail specificly for sights, it is not customizable.
