[M4A1 Cyber Achilles] An AR model from the 'Gear Clone' series produced by legendary gunsmith Daniel Calsen. Based on the M4A1, this assault rifle has increased power, special ammunition, and a high-capacity magazine.
  — Weapon Description

The M4A1 Cyber Achilles is an automatic assault rifle used by rifle men, and was available as the collection bonus in the seventh installment of the Mega Capsules, claimed when every other weapon in the season had been bought. It is an upgraded model and custom variant of the M4A1, featuring a metallic black paint-job accompanied by a cyber theme and glowing red lights.

Overview

The M4A1 Cyber Achilles was modeled around the MK.4 version of the M4A1 and therefore features exceptionally high range, in addition to an increase in damage, accuracy and stability. As with all the M4A1's successors, the rate of fire has been reduced slightly to compensate for the buff. The usability of this weapon is only slightly different between crouching and walking – its ability to spray in averagely-sized bursts while remaining controllable makes it a very versatile choice.

Statistic wise, the M4A1 Cyber Achilles has a single point of damage more than the regular M4A1 MK.4, but this boost actually contributes more to the damage and armor penetration consistency across most distances. Every other statistic is identical. Although this weapon may not excel at close range, the damage dealt will be extremely similar to the damage dealt to targets up to 40 meters, making it a very reliable choice for the majority of demolition and other longer ranged maps.

The M4A1 Cyber Achilles is capable of killing targets very quickly as long as you can successfully land a decent amount of shots. With each shot, the target's armor will be ripped apart a bit, causing each succeeding bullet to cause more damage. For these reasons, in medium and long ranges, you're advised to aim for the center of the body and utilise this weapon's spray capability. Accuracy may become questionable during extended fire, so it may benefit you to burst in smaller groups.

Despite being slightly less stable than the regular M4A1 MK.4, the M4A1 Cyber Achilles will still remain stable for the first few shots, so aiming for the head can result in much faster kills at close range. Since this weapon will suffer to higher damage-per-second weapons in close-quarter combat, racking up as much damage as possible in these situations is essential. Although becoming used to this style of game-play can be tricky, enduring your opponents is this weapon's strong point.

Notable Comparisons

M16 VN

M16 VN

Damage Range Accuracy Stability Mobility Fire Rate Ammo
38 53 69 61 63 53 20

The M16 VN has almost no recoil, and while such a pattern cannot be replicated with the M4A1 Cyber Achilles, bursting in smaller amounts can minimize the amount of visible recoil. The fire rate of the M4A1 Cyber Achilles is significantly higher, but the M16 VN is capable of engaging with a target for longer due to its outstanding handling – this actually results in similar damage output from both weapons. The M16 VN's weak point is its ammunition: having only 20 bullets means that engaging with multiple targets can be tricky – a task which is more trivial for the M4A1 Cyber Achilles.

XM8

XM8

Damage Range Accuracy Stability Mobility Fire Rate Ammo
37 52 64 60 45 48 30

The XM8, being very similar statistic-wise, shares a similar play-style as the M4A1 Cyber Achilles. The XM8's damage and armor penetration are both higher, but the dramatic decrease in rate of fire makes for a comparable damage output. The XM8 performs best at medium range, the M4A1 Cyber Achilles at long range, and both can out-endure other popular rifles. But both suffer slightly at short range, especially against point men. The XM8 suffers from inaccuracy during full automatic fire, and since spray capability is essential, some users will prefer the M4A1 Cyber Achilles.

Tips

If you would like to create your own tip, please make sure you read the example usage for the tip template first.
• The M4A1 Cyber Achilles was designed to be sprayed – don't be afraid to hold the trigger down for a little longer if it means securing the kill. Fully automatic fire can be viable even at medium ranges, but keep your cross-hair aimed at the center of your target in order to ensure maximum coverage.

• Even at much longer ranges, the M4A1 Cyber Achilles is able to fire in unconventionally large bursts while maintaining damage, which will allow you to endure past a great deal of other weapons. Take cover if you need to, or fire shorter bursts if the drop in stability or accuracy starts to being noticeable.

• Despite the M4A1 Cyber Achilles having a scope available, it is not recommended to use it due to the drop in fire rate and the lack of precision. In order to maximize accuracy, crouch when necessary in order to improve shot grouping. The difference between walking and shift-walking is not very significant.

Trivia

If you would like to add your own trivia, please make sure you read the example usage for the tip template first.
• The M4A1 Cyber Achilles marks the seventh season and final installment of the Mega Capsules, being the last collection bonus available – it is obtained once all the other weapons in the season have been purchased. It is also the second M4A1 to be featured as a jackpot weapon, the other being the X-plorer.

• Just over half of the weapons in the seventh Mega Capsule season are "cyber"-themed, featuring metallic paintwork, glowing lights and moving parts in the case of the SV98 Cyber Nova Priam. The M4A1 Cyber Achilles is no exception, fitting in by boasting a sharp black metallic theme and glowing red lights.

• The M4A1 Cyber Achilles, like the majority of the M4A1's successors, has no available modifications. This omits the need to pay for extra recurring costs. The most noteworthy version of the M4A1 that can be modified is the M4A1 BRONX, which has a higher damage output at close range, but is harder to handle.
