|— Weapon Description|
The Lugar P-08 Dragoon is a semi-automatic pistol, useable by any soldiers of any class as a secondary weapon. It was available for permanent redemption by purchasing any 5 weapons in the sixth season of the Mega Capsules. It is a custom variant of the Luger P-08, featuring a silver and gold gilded casing with royal blue paintwork and a small cyan gem embedded on the grip.
As the Lugar P-08 Dragoon is a custom variant as opposed to being an upgraded model, you can expect to see the same performance as the original Luger P-08, meaning that you can expect a fast draw speed and rate of fire, which are coupled with outstanding accuracy and stability. Where the focus of this weapon has been more heavily set on speed, an expected deficiency in damage and penetration is present, which can become more noticeable when faced against a heavily armored opponent.
The Lugar P-08 Dragoon is most commonly seen coupled with sniper rifles to assist with finishing kills when a target tags and is left with low remaining health. Despite this weapon's mediocre capacity and lack of effectiveness past shorter ranges, its ability to unload an entire clip with ease is what makes it desirable – reliable handling enables more experienced users to land consistient headshots; maintaining damage and making its use desirable even when utilised by other classes.
Having a high overall speed has seen the Lugar P-08 Dragoon being used to achieve a faster style of game-play. Its high mobility and fast animations allow slower classes like rifle men to maneuver larger maps with more ease, but can also serve as a reliable sidearm for faster but weaker sniper rifles such as the DSR-1 and SV98. Players looking to guarantee a higher damage output are advised to stay close to your targets, and aim for the head or upper body when firing.
The Lugar P-08 Dragoon cannot be modified.

The Walther P38 and Lugar P-08 Dragoon both share a very similar purpose in that their focus is heavily based around a higher rate of fire and damage output at very close range – offset by their inability to perform at longer ranges. Due to this, and their impressive accruacy and control, they are commonly utilised by snipers who have a fast but less powerful sniper rifle equipped; when targets tag, the overall speed of these two pistols assist to finish the kill.

The FN57 shows similarities to the Lugar P-08 Dragoon in terms of gameplay – again, they're both intended for close range, and damage will decrease the further away you are. However the FN57, despite having a high fire rate, is visibly slower than the Lugar P-08 Dragoon, but makes up for this by having a larger capacity. Though the Lugar P-08 Dragoon is arguably more suited for snipers, the FN57 can fit with any class due to its higher overall output per clip.
• You can maximize the damage output of the Lugar P-08 Dragoon by staying as close to your targets as possible – while the rate of fire is impressive, the damage done unfortunately becomes significantly less effective the further away you are. Aiming for the head and upper body can help to combat this decrease.
• Pairing the Lugar P-08 Dragoon with a fast sniper rifle such as the DSR-1 can assist with tagging – the high fire rate and draw speed tends to enable you to secure a kill without having to worry about shooting them twice. Its capacity may be small, but the accuracy should allow you to land enough shots.
• The Lugar P-08 Dragoon makes its appearance in the sixth season of the Mega Capsules, having served as one of the collection bonuses obtained when purchasing 5 other weapons. Other additional rewards in this season include the Harpoon Dragoon, M67 Dragoon, and the Mosin-Nagant Steel Dragoon.
• At the time of release, the Lugar P-08 Dragoon was the only cosmetic variant of the Luger P-08 available. Both pistols share the same statistics. Use of this variant can signify prestige or, being an additional reward, can serve as a replacement for using red tickets to purchase the original.
